In the late 80s and early 90s, MQC’s customer base began to expand and include companies in the defense, aerospace, automotive, biomedical, electronics, medical, and communications industries. Customers’ needs and expectations varied between industries and between public, private, and government enterprises. In order to meet the needs of its expanding customer base and the growing widespread adoption of the International Standards for Organization (ISO), MQC made the decision to become accredited, traceable, and certify itself to the highest standards possible.
With a commitment to continuous improvement and a relentless pursuit of excellence, MQC employed approved ISO/IEC Guide 25, ISO 10012, and ANSI Z540 auditors, with the intention of meeting or exceeding all quality assurance, documentation, and accuracy requirements set forth by the agencies listed above. To help facilitate this pursuit of excellence, MQC moved to a 15,000 sq. ft., environmentally-controlled, multi-laboratory facility, exclusively designed for calibration, repair, inspection, and testing of precision measurement test equipment.
Soon thereafter, MQC became accredited by Performance Review Institute (PRI) to ISO Guide 25, ANSI/NCSL Z540, ISO 10012-1 with direct traceability to National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T), all while following the strict compliance of ISO-9000 (series 1, 2, 3, and 4) and exceeding accuracy requirements dictated by federal, military, and industrial specifications. In 2002, the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) granted MQC through PRI its ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation. In 2004, MQC became A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited. MQC has and continues to grow steadily. It’s been over 40 years, and the vision and values remain the same.
